AOJ FLEXIBLE OPERATIONS FACTION
The Syndicate
No fixed uniform. No rigid formation. The Syndicate brings together new players, team-focused operators and lone wolves who adapt, divide and move wherever the operation needs them.
TEAM PROFILE
Independent, adaptable and unpredictable
The Syndicate is one of AOJ’s most accessible factions and is particularly well suited to players entering larger scenario games for the first time. It does not demand a strict uniform, specialist equipment or previous light-milsim experience.
Its members come from varied backgrounds and use a wide range of equipment. Some prefer to remain with the main force, while others operate independently or break away into smaller groups to pursue secondary objectives.
Strength does not always come from moving as one. Sometimes it comes from being everywhere the opposition did not expect.
GAMEPLAY STYLE
Freedom within the mission
The Syndicate uses a flexible style of play that allows members to find the role that best suits their confidence and experience. Newer players can remain with a larger group, learn from experienced members and contribute directly to the main objective.
More independent operators may form reconnaissance teams, conduct flanking movements, protect secondary routes or create temporary groups when a new threat appears. These smaller elements can separate, regroup and change direction without relying on a rigid command structure.
Accessible
A welcoming starting point for players who are new to scenario-based airsoft and objective gameplay.
Flexible
Members can remain with the main group or reorganise into smaller teams as the situation changes.
Independent
Lone wolves and experienced operators have room to identify weaknesses and pursue opportunities.
Adaptive
The faction responds quickly to new objectives, broken lines and unexpected battlefield developments.
FIELD IDENTITY
Tactical civilian clothing
The Syndicate has no strict camouflage pattern or matching uniform requirement. Players usually wear tactical civilian clothing such as hoodies, flannel shirts, softshell jackets, cargo trousers, caps and practical outdoor clothing.
Load-bearing equipment may include chest rigs, lightweight plate carriers, belts, backpacks or simple magazine pouches. Equipment should be safe and practical, but players are free to build a loadout that matches their own experience, budget and preferred play style.
SMALL-GROUP TACTICS
Split, move and regroup
The Syndicate often divides into several smaller groups instead of advancing as a single formation. One element may attack the primary objective while another patrols a flank, searches for intelligence or blocks enemy movement.
This structure gives beginners the security of working with a team while still allowing confident players to operate with greater independence. Success comes from recognising when to separate, when to regroup and when to support another element under pressure.
WHO SHOULD JOIN?
A faction built for mixed experience
The Syndicate is ideal for new players who want to experience scenario airsoft without immediately committing to strict light-milsim procedures or expensive matching equipment.
It also suits experienced players who enjoy improvisation, smaller independent groups and the freedom to react to opportunities without waiting for detailed orders. Every member can contribute, whether they remain with the main force or operate beyond it.
