Airsoft in Japan is evolving as rising operational costs force fields to increase prices, raise minimum player numbers, and require bookings months in advance. As the Airsoft Online Japan community continues to grow beyond 100 members, we are adapting our event structure to support the fields that host us while ensuring our community remains sustainable. By focusing more events at key locations and aligning game fees with real field costs, we aim to build a stronger future for airsoft in Japan.

Looking Ahead to 2026: New Directions, New Events, and a Stronger Community

As Airsoft Online Japan looks toward 2026, new events and initiatives are being planned to strengthen both gameplay and community. From a reworked Operation Shadow Strike to a spring Old West–themed event with strict equipment limits, the year ahead focuses on purposeful design, increased engagement, and meaningful player input. Expanded game frequency, off-field excursions, and training-focused days are also under consideration, all shaped by direct community feedback.
