THE TYRANT — Clean-Up Protocol

Something new is entering the battlefield at Shadow Strike 3.0.

Known simply as The Tyrant, this roaming entity is not part of any normal faction and cannot be eliminated in the usual way. It moves slowly, deliberately, and without hesitation. Once it appears, every player on the field has a new problem to deal with.

The Tyrant can be identified by its red headlamp and its slow walking pace. It will never sprint, but that does not make it harmless. Once it begins moving toward a target, it will continue advancing until that player escapes, breaks contact, or is eliminated.

Lethality

The Tyrant is armed with a shotgun, and any confirmed hit from it results in immediate elimination for the rest of that round. There are no revives, no medic saves, and no conversion into a zombie.

If The Tyrant hits you, you are out.

Unlike the infected, The Tyrant does not spread the outbreak. Its purpose is complete battlefield sterilisation.

Can The Tyrant Be Stopped?

Players are allowed to fire on The Tyrant, but it cannot be killed.

Sufficient incoming fire will force it down onto one knee for approximately three seconds. This gives nearby players a short opportunity to retreat, change position, or break line of sight.

However, this comes with a serious consequence.

Immediately after being staggered, The Tyrant enters an Enraged State lasting approximately ten seconds. During this time, it becomes completely immune to BB hits. Continued shooting will have no effect and will not extend the stagger period.

Once it gets back up, your best option is to run.

Slide05

A Threat to Everyone

The Tyrant does not belong to Task Force, Black Talon, Syndicate, or the infected. It has no allegiance and does not care which side is winning.

Its appearance can completely change the flow of a mission. Players may be forced away from objectives, separated from their squad, or driven directly into enemy territory while trying to escape.

Two opposing factions may even find themselves temporarily dealing with the same threat when that red light appears through the trees.

The Tyrant is not designed to be fought like a normal enemy. It is designed to create pressure, movement, confusion, and fear across the battlefield.

Shadow Strike 3.0

The outbreak is spreading, the battlefield is becoming more dangerous, and something has now been sent in to clean up what remains.

If you see the red light moving toward you, do not waste time trying to destroy it.

Create distance. Break line of sight. Survive.

The Tyrant is active. Clean-Up Protocol has been engaged.
