Terms for Community Services
By using AOJ to find or contact an independent provider, you acknowledge that the resulting service arrangement is made between you and that provider.
AOJ’s Platform Role
AOJ provides an advertising and discovery platform through which community members may promote independent services relating to airsoft and other outdoor activities.
AOJ does not provide, manage, direct or supervise the listed services and is not responsible for the quality, performance or outcome of work completed by an independent provider.
Independent Service Providers
All listed services are supplied by independent providers. Providers are not AOJ employees, agents, partners or representatives.
Each provider is responsible for their own service descriptions, qualifications, quotations, pricing, communication, timescales, workmanship, delivery and legal obligations.
Provider Identity Verification
Providers are required to submit identification and address information to AOJ to support identity verification and assist in serious disputes or lawful enquiries.
Identity verification does not constitute certification, endorsement or a guarantee of competence or service quality.
Agreements and Scope of Work
The customer and provider are responsible for agreeing the scope of work, inspection charges, replacement parts, deadlines, collection, delivery, warranties and any other service conditions.
Customers should obtain written confirmation of important terms before equipment or payment is transferred.
Pricing and Payments
Prices, deposits, quotations, additional charges and payment deadlines must be confirmed between the customer and provider.
AOJ may provide payment-processing facilities in some circumstances, but processing a payment does not make AOJ the service provider or responsible for the underlying work.
Service Quality and Disputes
AOJ does not guarantee the quality, accuracy, safety, completion time or suitability of services supplied by independent providers.
Service complaints, workmanship disputes, delays, damage claims and refund requests must normally be resolved directly between the customer and provider.
AOJ may review complaints and may suspend or remove a provider’s listing, but is not obligated to act as a mediator or determine financial liability.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for deciding whether a provider is suitable for their requirements and should review the provider’s experience, terms, pricing and warranty before proceeding.
Customers must provide accurate information about equipment condition, existing faults, prior modifications and any relevant safety concerns.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AOJ is not liable for loss, damage, delay, injury, unsatisfactory work, equipment failure, payment disputes or other issues arising from independently supplied services.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
Removal of Listings
AOJ may refuse, suspend or remove a provider listing where information is inaccurate, complaints are received, conduct may damage the community, or continued advertising is considered inappropriate.
Changes to These Terms
AOJ may update these platform terms when necessary. Continued use of the service directory after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
