Shadow Strike 3.0 — Infection Rules & Required Loadout

⚠ Shadow Strike 3.0: Infection Protocol

Shadow Strike 3.0 is not a normal elimination game. Once infection begins, every player is working against the clock.

Limited ammunition, downed states, executions and a three-minute infection timer mean that every decision matters. Learn these rules before entering the field — because once the infection starts, the clock does not stop.

Required Loadout

  • 30 BB maximum per magazine
  • Maximum of 7 magazines
  • Mid-cap and low-cap magazines only
  • No high-capacity magazines
  • Bring a watch, digital timer or similar device capable of tracking 3 minutes
  • Eye protection is mandatory during all active phases
  • Carry a red death rag for KIA status

Downed State & KIA

FIRST HIT — DOWNED
Your first confirmed hit places you into the downed state.

EXECUTION — KIA
If another player physically taps you while you are down, you are immediately considered executed and KIA.

SECOND HIT — KIA
A second confirmed BB hit while downed also results in Killed In Action.

Once KIA, immediately display your red death rag so nearby players can clearly identify your status.

The Infection Path

Infection begins the moment a zombie successfully grabs a live player. Start your personal three-minute timer immediately.

T–03:00
THE GRAB

A zombie successfully grabs you. Your three-minute infection countdown begins immediately.

T–01:30
LIMBO

You are still infected. If gunfire takes you down, you become immobilised — but your infection timer continues.

T–00:00
THE TURN

Your timer expires. Signal your transformation, secure your weapon and become one of the infected.

What Happens If You Are Shot While Infected?

Gunfire does 違う remove the infection and does not reset your countdown.

If you are killed by gunfire while infected, you become immobilised, but your infection timer continues to run.

When the timer reaches zero, the transformation still occurs.

When the Timer Reaches Zero

When your three-minute infection timer expires:

  1. Perform a loud coughing fit to clearly signal your transformation.
  2. Safely sling, holster or otherwise secure your weapon.
  3. Make sure nearby players recognise that you are turning.
  4. You are now a Zombie.

⚠ Instant Turn Rule

WARNING: DOWNED AND KIA PLAYERS CAN TURN IMMEDIATELY.

If a player who is already downed or KIA is grabbed by a zombie, the normal three-minute infection timer is bypassed.

That player turns instantly.

This makes wounded teammates extremely vulnerable. Protect your casualties — because leaving them behind may create another threat directly behind your squad.

Why These Rules Matter

The infection system creates uncertainty across the battlefield. A teammate fighting beside you may become a threat only minutes later, while a downed player can turn almost instantly if the infected reach them first.

The ammunition restrictions are equally important. With only 30 BBs per magazine, players cannot solve every encounter with sustained fire. Fire discipline, ammunition management, positioning and teamwork become much more important.

Your squad must decide when to fight, when to protect a casualty, when to complete the objective — and when it is time to move.

Survive. Adapt. Watch The Clock.

Shadow Strike 3.0 is built around survival, teamwork and pressure.

Know your ammunition. Know your status. Protect your teammates. Track your infection timer.

Because once the infection starts, the clock does not stop.
