Beam Charter Game Recap: A Day to Remember

Sunday’s Beam Charter game exceeded all expectations, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended. Your energy and participation turned the event into something truly special.

Before this game, I’d been grappling with doubts about whether our events were hitting the mark. I questioned whether the games were challenging enough. I wondered if we needed more props. I also worried if people were genuinely enjoying themselves.

Sunday changed everything. Watching how engaged and energized everyone was gave me clarity and a renewed sense of purpose. It’s inspired me to keep refining and evolving our events to guarantee they’re as fun, exciting, and memorable as possible.

On a personal note, I loved being the juggernaut in the last game. Seeing people flee as I come in was amazing. I only wish it was caught on camera.

Shout-Outs to the Team

A big thank-you to the key players who helped make the day a success:

  • Dan: You handled the game master role with such ease, ensuring everything flowed perfectly. This was especially appreciated given my bronchitis.
  • Stuart: Your leadership on the field was unmatched, keeping the team cohesive and ready for any challenge.
  • Alvaro: Your stellar organization during briefings kept everyone focused and on track.
  • Tim: You ensured all pickups and transitions ran smoothly, making logistics a breeze.

Your efforts didn’t go unnoticed, and they made all the difference in how smoothly the event played out.

Looking Ahead: Upcoming Games

  • Next Game: January 26th at Ridley Field – Only 8 tickets remain, so grab yours before they’re gone!
  • Desert Union (Tentative): We’re aiming for February but need 30 registrations by January 12th to lock in the venue. If we don’t hit that target, we’ll consider other options. These include the impressive Beam field we didn’t use this time. Otherwise, it becomes booked by another group.

Gear Repairs and Logistics

For those awaiting repairs:

  • Completed gear will be brought to the January 26th game.
  • If you need your gear earlier, I can ship it. I can also arrange a post-work meetup. Just let me know what works for you.

I have added a tracking system and booking system on the homepage. This greatly helps me to stay organized, so for future repairs or work, please submit a booking.

A Final Thank You

To everyone who came out Sunday: thank you for your enthusiasm, feedback, and camaraderie. You turned the Beam Charter game into a day to remember, and I can’t wait to do it all again.

Let’s keep this momentum going—see you on January 26th for the next adventure!
