We will be using B and C field
Theme
The afternoon games are themed around police versus criminals. Game modes will not be as simple as a reverse version and dynamics will change slightly based on the theme of the day. In a way the game modes and order tell a story that leads to a finale which decides the winning team. These games are less about winning and losing, and more about an enjoyable experience and being a part of something more unique than just games.
Speed Checks
We will be having speed checks and BB weight checks to ensure our participants guns are being accurately recorded.
Guns that are over 0.98J with a 0.20g BB will not be permitted to be used.
Team Choices
IMPORTANT: We will avoid using marker tape for teams, so a clear distinction is needed. You can choose your preference when booking and entering your details and please make sure to prepare for the choice you made.
For those that choose no preference, your team will be decided on the day and you may need to wear marker tape if your clothing doesn’t suit your allocated team.
Police / Swat
Assault Team Leader: Defrowe Airsoft
Clothing choices can include military clothing (black, green, multicam etc.) or anything that can make you look like an officer of the law, SWAT team member or military.
Perks
- Assault Team Leader: Can respawn solo at any checkpoint.
- Weapons Free: Assault team leader can call “weapons free” once per game in which all team members nearby can fire full auto for 60 seconds until leader calls “cease fire”
- Medic Revives: Adds a tactical layer by protecting medics and coordinating defense. If after 60 seconds they are not revived, they return to spawn.
- Respawns: Players can respawn in pairs to represent their logistical team advantage.
- Arrest: Police can arrest downed criminals and take them to a safehouse.
- Riot Shields: Players can use shields for breaching and defence. Shield hits do not count as a hit.
- Swat Support: Four players are designated as the Swat Team. They can fire full-auto in every game. However, they must move as a team.
Penalties
- Semi-Auto Only: Enforces discipline and precision shooting, aligning with police training.
- Hostage Elimination: If a hostage is killed, all police within sight of the hostage return to spawn.
The hostage will have a one minute penalty at spawn.
Criminals
Kingpin: Nineteen
Clothing would be more street themed, such as jeans, and bright colours or can include other gang type factions (suits like the mafia, tracksuits, pants and a hawaiian shirt) or even take ideas from Scarface, Yakuza, Miami Vice etc.
Perks
- Kingpin: Can only be downed for 10 seconds by sustained full-auto fire to the torso.
- Full Auto: Encourages aggressive play to overwhelm the police.
- Drug Frenzy: See below for details
- Bribery: A marked player can “bribe” a downed officer. They can exchange prop cash to switch sides. They turn on their team until their team kills them. Then they return to being a normal player. This action adds tension and deception.
- Hostage Capture: Downed Law Enforcement team members can be captured and used as hostages or human shields. If the captor is hit, then the hostage is free.
Penalties
- Limited Respawns: Certain game modes, criminals get fewer respawns and harsher respawn penalties, emphasizing survival tactics.
When hit, players must kneel for 30 seconds before returning to spawn.
During Drug Frenzy, there are no respawns until the frenzied players return to spawn. - No Revives: Certain game modes, criminals get no respawns to create high stakes for each engagement.
Drug Frenzy (Criminals Only):
Players chosen for this perk should have a clear understanding of the rules. They must demonstrate the ability to follow them. This ensures they play fairly and uphold the integrity of the game mode without abusing the perk.
Activation:
The team leader or designated player can call for “Drug Frenzy” once per game. Several players will open their bag of flour. They will splash it onto their head or body as a visual aid that they are in drug frenzy. Next, they activate a 60 second timer. (Please bring your own flour or similar white powder in small bags and a timer for this.)
Effect:
- The frenzied player can only hip-fire and must run or move erratically while engaging and screaming/shouting.
- Hits won’t do anything, simulating a heightened resistance.
- The frenzy lasts only until the marked magazine is empty or for a set time limit (e.g., 60 seconds).
Penalty:
- After the frenzy ends, the player enters semi auto mode. This change occurs when time runs out or the magazine is empty. The player can only shoot in semi auto for the remainder of the game, simulating drug withdrawal.
Team Penalty:
- Activating Drug Frenzy costs the team respawn times. Respawns stop until the frenzied players return to the respawn area.
If you want to be the frenzy player, please bring some small bags of flour (faux cocaine). Also, bring a timer with an alarm you can wear.
Perks for the teams are detailed in this blog post. So make sure to have a look before you book.
Lets go Police Team!
