Here you can get more information on becoming and event organiser to create and manage your own events.

For those that want to create their own events, they will need to either have an Elite Account or Organiser Account.

Elite Accounts – These are for members that attend our games on a regular basis.

Organiser Accounts – For those that do not attend our events, but want to use the AOJ platform to host their own.

Criteria

Hosting events and managing them is unfortunately not free for us. Those that are not regular members of our games will need to purchase a membership as an Organiser, charged at ¥2,500 every 6 months. With this membership, you can post events, manage bookings and tickets.

When you create an event, it is best to be as detailed as possible to ensure you do not misinform your guests as well as not setting unreasonable expectations. Please do not be vague with the details and ensure you add the following information.

  • Location name & Address (if there is no location from the list, you can add one later)
  • Event Prices
  • Dates and start time
  • Nearest station or transportation option
  • A Featured Image (Having an image of the event or venue helps it to stand out)
  • Google Map Link (add the embed code in this field)
  • Excerpt (Add a sentence or two summarising what the event is about)

Creating tickets is a simple process in which you select the ticket names, write a brief description, set the quantity and if needed set the price.

Description

Here you can describe briefly what the ticket is and what it covers.

Quantity

Here you can set the maximum number of tickets available.

Prices

Your can choose to set a price to pay online, or just leave the price blank to manage cash payments by yourself.

If you set a price, please allow for a 5% processing fee. Payments will be managed by AOJ and Stripe. Stripe charges a fee to cover the security they provide as well as a transfer fee to send money to the AOJ bank account. After received, we will transfer fees to the organiser’s bank account. This process takes 8-10 days.

However much fees are per person, add at least 5% to ensure the processing fees are covered.

Alternatively, do not set a price and simple write the price in the ticket title and collect cash on the day, leaving the ticket price as 0 (zero).
For example: “Attendance Reservation (¥4,500)”, then attendees can pay the organiser on the day.

Here you can manage your bookings and approve pending booking requests, manage the event details, attendance list and more.
