To streamline events for both members and organizers, we introduced an online payment system for regular members.
Kelcey brought us this idea yesterday. She felt it would be easier to book tickets first. Then, pay for them later. This is a good idea as if you do not get paid until later in the month, you can book and not have to worry about the timing of payments.
This allows us to confirm intended attendance in advance, manage payments directly with fields without using our own funds, and ensures a smooth check-in process.
On the day, we simply greet members, check a box, and it’s done—no need to chase payments. This system not only simplifies the process for members but also significantly reduces the workload and stress for organizers by eliminating the need to track arrivals and interrupt participants for payments and check in.

We’ve now introduced a prepayment system available for Elite Members as well. If you book with cash, you’ll find an option on the ‘My Bookings’ page under the ‘My Account’ menu, where you can access more detailed information. Additionally, we’ve added new features to make it easier to manage and review your bookings.
Now you can see the following on the My Bookings page.
- Event Name
- Event Date
- Tickets ordered
- Booking Status
- Options
- Cancel (only available until 14 days before event)
- Advance Payment (Credit Card or Google Pay)
These new additions should help people to navigate and understand their bookings easier to make things more manageable.

Prepayment Option
For Elite Members who selected cash as their payment method, the new Advance Payment option gives you the flexibility to either pay on the day of the event or skip the hassle by booking early and paying a few days in advance. Once we confirm your payment, your booking will be updated in our system, ensuring a smoother game day experience for everyone.
All you need to do is click the link for advanced payment, enter your name and the tickets you are paying for, then enter your card information and submit. Payment is instant and once we receive confirmation the payment has arrived into your AOJ account, the payment will be reflected on your tickets and a receipt will be emailed.
